Engineering teams at my clients ship documentation alongside code, not after it, because I build the systems that make that possible. I'm a Documentation Engineer and Information Architect with 20 years across enterprise software, developer platforms, and regulated industries: payment systems (Fundtech), asset management (SunGard), enterprise communications (Avaya), and financial crime prevention (NICE Actimize).

Scaling documentation for five financial crime platforms, simultaneously

Challenge

Five enterprise financial crime platforms (on-prem and SaaS cloud), each with separate release trains, Agile teams, and strict regulatory documentation standards. One team, no unified toolchain, and growing release velocity.

Approach

Migrated four GitLab workflows to GitHub with a branching model aligned to release milestones. Designed an AI governance framework: evaluated seven tools, formally adopted four with prompt standards and compliance controls. Built information architecture for the DOCenter customer-facing documentation portal.

Results

Zero release misalignment across five platforms post-migration. Reduced support escalations through targeted troubleshooting guides surfaced from ticket analysis. Eight writers trained on Git, JIRA, and MadCap Flare workflows. Star Performer recognition three consecutive times.
